This website was more or less frozen in April 2011 when I took up full-time employment. The meantime has seen the release of two minor Windows versions (Windows 8 and Windows 8.1) and a major (Windows 10). Even before this neglect, much of the site had anyway still not progressed from Windows Vista and hardly any had yet attended to 64-bit Windows. So, there is a huge amount of updating to do, all while I keep going back to old notes wondering why I didn’t write up this or that interesting (if sometimes small) point long before now. All links below are to pages that have merely been updated, except if noted explicitly as new.
By the way, offers of alternative employment that might sustain the revival of this website are welcome. See especially that I am again available for Consultation.
