Who knows how far I will be able to go with this, but I find myself wanting to put the world right on some points of memory management in Windows. Yes, there are whole books just on this very large topic, but all that I’ve looked at have left me unsatisfied. My own work does too, of course. It still will even after this round of trying to get something publishable from material I’ve had on my intranet for years. Much of this I’m picking up from my last attempt at organising it back in 2016. It’s very much the sort of thing you wish for a while you had never started but know that if you can stick at it long enough to get it right you’ll wish you had done it long ago.
