Numeric fields in a decorated name have a general representation as a sequence of letters A to P inclusive, one letter for each hexadecimal digit (A for 0x00 to P for 0x0F), starting from the most significant, ignoring leading zeros. An @ sign marks the end. However, a special case is made for numbers between 1 and 10 inclusive. These are represented just as a single digit 0 to 9 with no @ sign.
